General
By creating an account, using our services and reading the terms - you’re accepting our terms of service. We will do our utmost to provide a high level of service.
Description of services
Lessfuss is an assistance service. We endeavour to do tasks for our customers that they delegate to us, within a certain time frame. In return we are paid a fee.
Company information and access to service
Our operating hours are standard South African office hours. However we monitor our services as much as is humanly possible. Lessfuss is based in Cape Town, South Africa. For information on how to contact us, please see our Contact page.
Lessfuss membership
What does membership entitle you to?
Membership entitles you to delegate a number of tasks for completion to Lessfuss.
Who can use a Lessfuss account?
Anyone 18 years old and over, able to make a payment to Lessfuss and who has contact information.
Who can use your Lessfuss account?
The person who opened the account can use our services. If we receive a request from another party with your account details we will have to contact you to confirm that we can go ahead and complete the task.
Personal information
We promise never to distribute your personal information. However, if we need to use personal information to get a task done, we’ll need to pass on that information (e.g. make a booking on your behalf).
Communication
If you have a Lessfuss account, we’ll update you on new stuff, send you an opt-in newsletter (that kind of thing) via email. We have to communicate with you if we need clarification on your tasks as well as to let you know when they’re done / send you results. We will also need to email you any payment confirmations or reminders.
Task publication
We reserve the right to sometimes use one of your tasks as an example on our website (we won’t if it violates your privacy).
Paying Lessfuss
How we accept payment
Payment is made on our Subscription page. Currently we accept payment by credit card, U-kash, Instant EFT or vouchers (all using Payfast) or bank transfer (EFT).
What are you buying?
A subscription for a certain number of days with a choice to renew your subscription when those days are up. There are no signup fees, additional costs or cancellation fees.
Refund policy
We do not issue refunds.
Expiry of tasks
A subscription is valid for the stated number of days only. If you have a credit of tasks left in your account they expire and do not roll over.
Payment information
We do not store your banking details.
Lessfuss tasks
What constitutes a task?
At this time, a task is asking us to do a job for you that is desk-based. It should be relatively short (up to 30 minutes) and something that can be completed within the expected timeframe. If the task is something big (e.g. plan my wedding), we will contact you to help you break it down into smaller tasks (e.g. florist quotes, appointments with the hairdresser etc.).
What we do if we can’t fulfill our side of the bargain for a task?
If, when you submit a task, we can tell straight away that it’s not something we do - for logistical or ethical reasons - we’ll let you know as soon as possible, and we won’t deduct a task credit from your account.
If, while we’re busy with your task, we discover that for logistical reasons that it’s something we aren’t able to do on your behalf (for example, the company you’ve asked us to contact refuses to deal with a third party with regards to your affairs), we’ll let you know, and we won’t deduct a task credit from your account.
If, however, completion of a task is hampered by a third party not providing us with feedback/response, we will follow up with this third party up to three times telephonically, via email or fax, after which we will consider the task completed to the best of our ability. In this instance, we will forward records of any communication and/or reference numbers to you for your reference, and we will deduct a task credit from your account.
Task delivery
Confirmation of a completed task will be delivery by email.
Viewing task history
We’ll keep a history of your tasks in your Lessfuss account.
Cancellation and termination
When we would cancel the relationship
If we’re unable to work together and unable to reach any level of agreement, Lessfuss reserves the right to terminate the relationship. If there is any abuse towards our staff, Lessfuss reserves the right to terminate the relationship. If you ask us to do something illegal or unethical, we reserve the right to terminate the relationship.
When you can cancel the relationship
You can cancel your account at any time and you will not be rebilled.
Collected information
We use cookie technology to collect information. We also log information on visits to our website, this normally records technical detail (date/time, cookies, browser, IP address etc.). Both gives us information to be able to provide a quality service.
Terms of Service
Lessfuss reserves the right to change the Terms of Service when required. When that happens, this page will be updated.
